Starting at catcher today will be our old friend, C Dioner Navarro. Ol' Navarro, for those who've not heard, appears to have revitalized his career after His Summer with Joey Votto, which sounds like a middle school research paper, but looks like a 13-homer explosions in just 266 PA and then a 2-year , $8 million dollar deal to be the Blue Jays starting catcher.
I'll be honest, I spend so much rooting against those two old AL East teams that don't merit mentioning that I -- as with many others here on this site -- have a softer spot for the Blue Jay and Orioles. More especially the Blue Jays because they are a more worse team, so it's safer to root for their Munenori Kawasaki's and Dioner Navarro's. So I'm hoping things go well for Navarro. I think it'd be fun if his career finally takes off.
